- 498 patients were retrospectively analyzed for topoisomerase 1 expression (IHC). In the subgroup of patients treated with irinotecan (38% of the 498), those patients expressing Topoisomerase I had a better overall survival according to multivariate analysis (HR = 0.47, 95% CI 0.23-0.94, p = 0.033).
