- Description
- Foundation One NGS assay and targeted RNAseq identified PAPSS1-BRAF fusion in a melanoma sample. Further BRAF fusions (TRIM24-BRAF) were identified in TCGA and additional samples. Ectopic expression of engineered cDNA in 293H cells showed that trametinib led to reduced ERK1/2 phosphorylation in fusion positive cells whereas vemurafenib was not effective.
