- High DNMT1 expression was found in 105/127 (83%) or patients (by qPCR assay). Low DNMT1 expression was associated with improved histopathological and clinical response and OS in patients with gastric cancer (P=0.03/P=0.008, P(log-rank)=0.001, respectively). In one cisplatin resistant cell line, DAC treatment and cisplatin had a synergistic effect.
