- Higher expression of NQO1 was correlated with decreased cytotoxicity of amrubicin (amrubicinol is the active metabolite) in 27 NSCLC and SCLC cell lines. siRNA knockdown of NQO1 (in two cell lines) increased amrubicinol cytotoxicity.
