- In this screen of 218 solid cancer cell lines, KRAS and BRAF mutations were predictive of response to MEK inhibitor GSK1120212. 40 cell lines harbored a KRAS mutation. In RAF/RAS mutant colon cancer cell lines, co-occurring PIK3CA/PTEN mutations led to a cytostatic (9/10 cell lines) response rather than a cytotoxic response (1/10 cell lines).
