- Expression of IGF1R in NSCLC cell lines (n=17) was associated with resistance to EGFR inhibitor gefitinib, however, knock-in or knock-out of IGF1R did not affect gefitinib sensitivity. IGF1R expression was also higher in patients with disease progression after gefitinib therapy in a clinical cohort (n=98).
