Description
33 patients were retrospectively analyzed for Stathmin expression by IHC. High protein expression was correlated with poor response to paclitaxel but not other chemotherapy. The authors supported this conclusion with pre-clinical studies that showed that knock-down of stathmin improved sensitivity to paclitaxel in endometrial carcinoma cell lines with both naturally higher and lower sensitivity to paclitaxel.
