Description
Phase 2 trial of ERBB-inhibitor dacomitinib in stage IIIB/IV lung cancers with HER2 mutations or amplification. Two patients were identified with identical HER2 p.G778_P780dup mutations (p. P780_Y781insGSP, c. 2339_2340ins GGCTCCCCA) and no amplification. Both had a confirmed partial response lasting 11 and 14 months. Only 3/30 patients on this trial had a partial response (no complete responses).
