- breast cancer
- Source Database
- CIViC Evidence
- Description
- In a panel of 31 breast cancer cell lines, 11 had loss of PTEN function. Cells were tested for sensitivity to mTORC1 inhibitor everolimus and mTORC1/2 inhibitor PP242, and no significant correlation was found between PTEN status and sensitivity to mTORC inhibition.
