- A cisplatin resistant derivative of ovarian cancer cell line OVCAR-3 was generated by long term passage with increasing cisplatin levels. Western blot showed decreased PTEN level in the resistant cell line, and siRNA against PTEN in parent OVCAR-3 cells induced cisplatin resistance.
